On March 4, Afework Kassu Gizaw, the Ethiopian Minister of Science and Higher Education paid a courtesy visit to the President. Minister of State Afework completed a Ph.D. program at the university's Graduate School of Nutrition and Biosciences.
On this occasion, he came to Japan as a speaker at the 15th 91̽»¨ International Development Promotion Symposium, commemorating the 70th anniversary of 91̽»¨.
